If your a Pac fan, you'll enjoy it.
If your not, you will not. 'Tis that's simple.

How much anyone wanna bet this threads turns into a huge 6-page flamefest over if he's alive or not?

The thread is not weather or not he's dead or alive, it's about the film/documentry about him that's bieng shown in theaters.

Wanna see it; haven't yet. The soundtrack is pretty good; it's got some of his old stuff, with some new mixes feat. Eminem and 50 Cent. Whole album is pretty tight.

I can’t imagine the demand for the film is high enough to make it widely distributed. It’ll slowly make its way around.

btw - dead dead dead :p

Actually, Tupac is a far more recognizable figure than you may think. The fact that he had so many different sides to him, especially caring for what goes on in poor neighborhoods. Unfortunately, the media only cast him in the light of being a criminal(i.e. getting shot and arrested). I'm sure the movie can be found all over Kazaa or something. I found the album about 3 weeks before it was released, but i do plan on going to buy it.

I have only found this sort of 'cult following' of Tupac in the USA, where I was living WHEN he WAS alive there was never much interest in him aside from the occasional song.

What is it with the American obsession of keeping the dead alive through the media?

he was killed for a reason. who cars, i think its a bunch of trash. maybe if someone paid me $20 to see it, i would consider it.
