How Do You Manually Open Your Lights

Quick question really easy how do you open your lights manually. One of mine doesn't open and I need to find out I've seen somebody do it to mine but I wasn't paying attention(didnt think I'd have to know). I have a 98 Firebird also do you need anything to open it like a screwdriver I dont know.

Open your hood and you see those round black knobs next to the lights. You need to turn these. I forgot whether clockwise or counter clockwise. I had a 1982 that did this. My 1991 so far never had a problem after 231,000 miles. Not very hard to do but it does take a lot of turning, they move slow.

There is a cap that comes off first incase you didnt figure that part out. But otherwise do as he said...
