I have a '98 Corolla and I am hearing knocking near my front left (driver side) tire. It sounds like a thumbing ,like the tire may be flat, but when I check all my tires they were all fine. I only hear the noise when I'm driving. Otherwise, when I first start the car at any given day the engine sounds fine. The car also pull to the left like it's moving towards that one tire.
Please help

I assume that you checked pressure on the tires but I am not sure if you took the suspected tire off & inspected it yet.
Suggestion:
Remove the front left tire (might want to check right one too) and run your hand over the surface to check to see if it's out of shape. One of my tires last winter looked fine in terms of pressure and from outside but once I took it off and rolled it on the ground, it seemed deformed - kinda flat and dented in some parts. It was making the thumping noise. Looked fine from outside though. Once replaced, it run nice and quiet again.
Hope this helps you somewhat!
