Ok, well I was hoping that some of you 'Mitsi gurus' out there would be able to help me with some specs on the Libero.
I've been searching on the net, but most of the shit that i find comes back in asian #%$^& (which of course i can't read). I was just after all the usual stuff like the weight, tourque, measurements and the main differences between the GSR sedan and and Libero Wagon.
Anyone know of any sites/msg boards or even have a libero?

Well theres a post here somewhere on the Libero GT, but I believe its basicly the same spec as the GSR, they certianly don't seem to be that much slower.

I bought a 1995 Libero GT (GSR spec wagon) for NZ$14,000 about 4 months ago.
I basically wanted performance with a bit of extra space. A WRX wagon would have been my first choice but a similar aged model would have been around NZ$20,000.
The car is mechically identical to the GSRs, the only differences I know about are, no boost light on dash for the Libero, Libero has airbag after 1995 and I believe power went up from 141-145kw, (I don't know why or how)
I have driven a WRX and I don't think there much difference, in fact I've people in the Libero that believe it's a lot quicker off the mark.
I don't know what the standard gear ratios are for GSRs but mine revs at about 2750rpm @ 100km/h which is just right. I also have a very heavy clutch which I believe is heavy-duty.
Other mods I have is a Pod filter with heat shield/shroud (looks great in met. red) and 2.5" exhaust/stainless tip. Very loud on the power but not a "droner" when crusing.
The car currently sits slightly lower on aftermarket shocks/springs. It looks a better then standard GTs which look too high. Its rolling on the standard 14" mags which are OK but the car is really crying out for serious wheels.
Luckily the car came with a EVO 3 front, I think it's real as it's plastic and it doesn't quite match my wheel arches. (designed for bigger arches)
I get around 400 kms per tank (35-40litres)
I have never been able to find out the exact weight for a GT Libero, I'd say it's slightly heavier, I put it on industrial scales and allowing for myself and what I was carrying I'd estimate it was around 1250kgs
Overall I'm stoked with the whole car, it is still relatively rare especially in 5spd form. It is deceptively quick and is a real sleeper to the uninitiated. A lot of go for the money especially when compared to WRX's.
