first of all dont use a brush, only in the detail lines, if you want them a different color. And second, you dont have to buy one, i made one that is fine out of a cardboard box, so its not that great, but it works.
General booth
1.take a box about a minimum of about 18"h, 12"w, 12"d with the top flaps open
2. cut a 3"x3" hole in the top off to the side-for vent, later
3. cover the whole thing in duct tape, making sure it is airtight except for one side
Vent
1. take 2 pieces of cardboard, that are on a bend, so you can put them together and make a 3"x3" tube
2. angle cut both ends
3. duct tape them together
4. take a piece of cardboard and attach it to the top, so that it is attached on one side and covers the rest, but dont let it attach
5. push the vent through the hole, and make it so its tilted like this: /
Shelf
1. if you want a shelf, get another piece of carboard that will fit inside
2. duct tape it to the sides
3. put a dowel cut to the rite height underneath it, and duct tape it on
4. make sure it is sturdy
Cover
1. take a piece of plexiglass/cardboard/ anything you want..i like plexiglass because u can c ur paint job
2. cut the material so it sticks off the sides about 1/2" on each side, and fit the top and bottom about perfectly-leave like a 1/4"
3. duct tape the top down- this will act as a hinge
4. trim the bottom now so its even with the bottom of the cardboard, and the sides are about 1/4" out on each side
5. put 2 pices of duct tape along the edges, folding them over so they are a half width of the tape-this protects the edges
any questions im me i can send u pics they rnt workin 4 me sry

using a spray booth has nothing to do with getting dust on your cars. its all in the environment. you have to make sure your stuff is CLEAN.. that your model is clean.. your airbrush is clean.. your spray can nozzle is clean (before big job turn can upside down spray out paint and immerse nozzle in thinner) and right after you spray it put it under some type of cover so dusts dont fall on it before it dries.
do not paint brush acrylic on large surface unless you can paint it really fast. acrylics dry fast and will sure leave brush marks. that means if you need to paint carefully and take your time forget it.. mask and spray instead.
as for me.. I mask and spray everything whenever I can.
