Brake lights not working all the time

99 Tahoe, brake lights work with very light pedal, and full-all the way pushed to the floor as hard as I can, but not in between. Any suggestions?

Most likely you have a bad brake lamp switch.

Thanks for your help. I solved the problem by replacing the brake light switch.

How do you replace the brake lamp switch? Is it something I can do myself, once I find it??
