Guess it wasn't the supercharger after all...

According to my dealer, they think the problem is from the Torque Converter. I guess that made sense, since the problem was only evident when the car was idling, not when it was actually running.

Anyone know how long this kind of thing takes to fix?

Is the problem with the TCC solenoid or the TQ istelf? If it is the TQ itself, it could take a couple days, since they have to pull the motor to get to it.

At this point, I'm not sure. They were looking for history on the car to see if anything had been done, but also noted that the tranny looked relatively newish. They plan on pulling a cover of some sort to have a look at it.

I'd be pleased as punch if it turns out to be a solenoid.

It gets worse. We're talking rod knock. They're now replacing "The whole bottom half of the engine". Hopefully, I'll be able to get the damn thing home someday.

Anyone have experience with Carmax? I'm just bout ready to write a letter. I've had the car less than four months.
