My Pocher Porsche

Hi guys, I've been lurking for a while now, first post though. I'm doing a Pocher 993 and it has issues. I was told beforehand that the quality wasn't the best by any means, but i love 993's so I went for it.
My current probem is that the rear wheels stick out to far from the fenders. The rim around the lig nuts is up against the hub(no overlap). Pocher people should understand what I mean. So the base of the holes through the wheel is not touching the hub, due to a lip extending past them to the inside. I know that sounds weird but I can't post pics so I'm describing what I see in a few different ways.
So my question is: Is the wheel supposed to fit up against the hub, or over it, or what? Also, the wheel studs look rather fake to me, and not too secure with the push-fit plastic nuts. Where could I get some threaded rod and nuts to replace these?
Thanks in advance!

I'm not exactly sure what you are describing. However, here's a link to a Pocher Porsche/Ferrari specific message board. Perhaps you can find some help there also.

I've built the Pocher Porsche 993 over the past summer. The wheel seems to fit nicely to the hub, and doesn't extend beoynd the fender. If you have other questions please don't hesitate to ask, and I'll include a few pictures in this post for your reference. :smokin:

Thanks so much Toasty! I will have other questions later, I'm going pretty slow on this thing. Is yours built straight out of the box? I was looking at some racing seats for mine, but so far undecided. I plan on leaving the rear seat out all together if I can find a source of carpeting to cover the metal. (thats what I would do to my real 993 if I owned one, so hey...)

No problem Sirtophamhat. I basically built the kit box stock, but I can't help but added a few simple details to the engine. As you've probably already found out, the engine detail is a disgrace to the Pocher brand name :grinno: . And I've changed the interior from red to grey and added my own carpets (since the originals were red). If you would like more picrtures or help with the kit, please don't hesitate to PM me. :smokin:
