i have a B18A which will be in my car this winter. i was wondering since my car will be a little heavier and have more power since it will be turbocharged as well what specific suspension should i go with? KYB? TOKICO? H&R? and what version of the brand?

go with some ground controls w/ custom spring rate & koni adjustables.

If you go with coilovers, why not get a true coil setup?

I use KYB's and the H&R stage 3 spring, with my b20/vtec setup, with no problems at all.

i have heard some bad stuff about coilovers and good stuff can anyone lemme in on some more info about them i have heard that a spring is much better than a coilover but you can adjust the coilover but it is not as good as the spring...

Coilover sleeves would be the last choice, nice thing about ground controls is that they can be ordered w/ specific spring rates. Best type would be true coilovers(like H&R's), springs/shocks next, & coilover sleeves last.

I've seen spring perches break due to sleeves. The problems w/ sleeves is the metal collar and sometimes crazy springs rates. Shock perches were designed to be used with springs, not a small metal collar.

If you have the money, Tein coilovers. Very high quality, then you don't have to mess with springs or shocks.

Probably more than you paid for your civic.

Go with H&R's
If you do go with true coilovers, spend as much as you can. Price does reflect quality when it comes to suspension

i was actually hoping to get away with about $500-700 for springs and sturts lemme know what else is out there. im sure that those are great set ups but i dont have $1500 just to drop into a suspension its not like im gonna be rally driving...just drag racing

Do you plan on street driving?
Check out Eibach Drag Launch spings & get some adjustable shocks or the GC's & Koni's.

I would save the $$$ up and get some thing that was made to go together like the Tein or JIC. I personaly have run blues with some 95 coup springs and have drove alot of other setups that are mix and matchd and nothing compaird to the JIC or the Tein cars!!!

I wil lenver mix and match agan i wil lwate and save my $$ for the good shit.

But then agan im realy big on curvy roads and road corses

i have eibach sportline springs on my hb and i love em, i do need to get some struts, probally roll with KYB or Tokico blues... id say unless you plan on paying alot for coilovers stick with springs and struts.

If you look on that same page, the Tein HA coilovers fit the 88-91 CRX. I don't know why it says you need the '88 lower rear control arms. They should be the same for all four years.
