Air bubbles?

Hey guys
Just having a little problem with little air bubbles appearing in the paint. What i did was apply the paint quite thick using a brush in order to create a smooth effect, however once the paint dried, little bubbles started to appear at a few spots. What I thought I'd do was sand back very very lightly with 2000 grit (also to remove the glossy effect). Is this a good idea?
What makes these bubbles appear in the first place?

The bubbles are caused by you applying the paint too thick.
When you apply the paint in a thick coat, you trap the solvent fumes in the paint and since they can't escape as the paint dries they form bubbles.

yeh, still gotta experiment with the right amounts of paint to get the interior looking smooth without causing a latex effect... :\

If the bubbles are very tiny, and there are many of them, the body could have been dusty. If bubbles are somewhat large, the body might have had some oil spots from your finger.

both impossible... i don't directly touch the parts i paint and I was them beforehand @@
