ok, your right. I am just sick of turning on the radio to a "rock" station and hearing how great god is or how far away 6 feet is. they aren't heavy metal. But I was just trying to say I am glad to hear more decent hard rock.

I have no problem with hearing how great God is or how far away 6 feet is. I just wish I'd hear it in a different songs, not the same one each day. On that I agree with you.

thanks guys, yeah were trying to bring the old heavy metal back, as a matter of fact... as for creed and pod and all that trash, yeah they should be buried in penguin shit, thats just the worst music u can ever create. i mean think about it, heavy metal was created as "music for the devil" rite? all of a sudden u got guys singing heavy metal about god, and even some about love... Heavy metal was called the music for the devil simply because it was different, and loud. It was not created as "music for the devil" Led Zeppelin and similar bands were the first true heavy metal. Guess what they sang about? Love! Death metal is the dark moody wannabe tryhard Satanic shit. Creed and POD are not heavy metal, they're rock. Not everyone wants to listen about people dying, how bad life is, or whatever.

What's your music like? Death, destruction, melancholy, pointless big words and oh, let's not forget, hail Satan? Or what sort of music do you really do? Post some lyrics to your songs (my browser can't load your page so I don't know if there are lyrics on there or not, and I can't listen to your music either). Why do you want to be "music for the devil" anyway? Oh wait, I remember, because it's cool to hate, eh?

toksin, i love the diagram. it's hilarious. oh, and my two cents: creed is like some sort of country rock. they have the rock instruments, but the singer is always whining about something. and POD may sing about god all the damn time, but i think that the beats make up for it.

where the FUCK is your head at that youre calling led zeppelin heavy metal... lol i dont know if its just your lack of musical genre or your ignorance, but buddy led zeppelin -> classic rock, soft rock, rock n roll, blues, soul, funk, thats about all i can come up with off the top of my head. next point. HEAVY METAL is not sung about love. who created heavy metal? black sabbath? any of that come to mind? did they sing about love? (except for love of cocaine and drugs) yeah ok its music about hate <- MY ASS. you can make a perfect song out of heavy metal and not have it about HATE... thats how slipknot works...

as for my music? no i dont sing about hate and death and tearing apart innocent children... you might not really care, but i try to put true meaning into the lyrics of my songs, there will be lyrics posted on the site later if you wish to read any of it... THEN you can critisize me writing about HATE. maybe death yeah, ok , i got a song about the irony behind suicide... i hardly think that incorporates any hate into that.

so before you go and clown me buddy, sit down for a while, and think about what youre saying.

Wow. Call me ignorant. Anyway, Led Zep was called Heavy Metal when it first came out, I don't give a flying fuck what it's called now. Yes Black Sabbath is more like modern heavy metal, but ever hear of of Alice Cooper? Or the Velvet Underground? TVU were one of the first big punk bands, but I suppose since it doesn't sound like Blink 182 or Sum 41 or The Sex Pistols you'll say it's not punk. You have to see how music has evolved and grown, what people call it now is not what it was when it first came out. Like I said, LZ was heavy metal when it first came out, now people call it classic/ soft rock compared to say Manson or Metallica. As for Slipknot? I couldn't comment on what their music is about, I can't understand a fucking thing the guy is saying. Plus I can't hear it over the crap, I mean noise, I mean music.

I would read the lyrics on your site, but like I said it won't work in my browser, and I'm having IE troubles at the moment, so unfortunately that will have to wait.
