Mexico legalizing a skyline

okay lol befoe you guys shoot me, lol. I already read all the other threads and ect. And this might not be such a off the wall question.
Okay this is about leglizing not importing let me make that clear.
Is it at all possible to legalize the skyline in Mexico as it comes from Austriala or Japan, drive it across the border and drive it here.
It's not stupid because I know for a fact you can come across the border in a car with a Mexican tag and they tell you go to the DMV and pick up a 90 day temp tag, so....? Yeah thats 4 trips a year, but you can actuly just call and they sent it to you in the mail.
