Bulb Replacement for 03 Altima

Can anyone tell me how to replace my headlight bulbs?? I bought new ones, but when i went to change it i noticed i would have to do more to remove the whole headlight assembly, and i was just wondering what all i had to do? Any help please?

I have a 03 2.5S if that makes any difference.

nissan does have a recall on the headlight bulbs or the whole assembly. if you notice that your headlight bulb housing is burning (the foil around the bulb start melting), go to your nissan dealer let them change your headlight bulb or assembly. if your headlight bulb housing isn't burn that bad, they just change the clips (ground clip) that hold the light bulb.

the driver side is easy just turn the gray cover and then release the spring clip and change the bulb. The passenger side is more of a pain. to make room for your hand you have to remove the washer bottle filler neck just turn and pull out. good luck.
