My son has a 90 ls 5 speed 200K miles. First problem in the 2 years we have had it. Turns over but never starts to fire. He started it but heard a strange noise under the hood. Turned it off looked under the hood and tried to start it again but it won't fire. I have fuel pressure. Have spark at the plug wires. Used my stethoscope on the injectors and they seem to be firing when cranking. I checked the 3 position sensors at the distributor and each ohm out to 350 ohms as per the manual. I checked the ECU codes but the only time I get a flash of the LED is right when the key is switched on. I even disconnected the 3 sensor (crank sensor, TDC...) plug at the distributor and tried to start it thinking it should post an error but the ECU LED did the same thing, flashing only when the key is first turned. I'm thinking this migh lead to a fulty ECU. Error code of 0 indicates a bad ECU. Is this what a 0 code looks like? Any Ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

hmm you know what that is a good question, I have never seen a code 0 I know what it is but have never seen it. Do you know anybody around there with a integra non vtec? You can use a ecu from 90-95 to try and see if it will start, but if you have to replace it then you need to make sure you get a OND0 ecu. Also have you checked the timming belt? I am syre you have but it never hurts to ask LOL.

I don't know anyone with an Integra . I was thinking of buying an ECU off ebay but I hate to throw parts at a problem. As far as the timming belt goes I haven't really checked it but the cams are turning. I guess it could have jumped some teeth. What is the easiest way to check, set for TDC and check the rotor position? This the first time I have had to troubleshoot the Integra. This is what keeps me busy most of the time.
