i want to gete a project car, and was tihnking of geting a 3rd gen Ttop and restoring it, then modding it. how easy arte they to restore(and how expenisve) and how easily can they be made fast?

Easier and cheaper to get a 2nd gen. and restoring it. Simpler to do, and parts are still plentiful. Also, they will soon be going up in value.

ya, i liek the styleing of the 3rd better, alot better, not to mention its not a dog like the 2nd gen.

I guess I'm biased, I drove a 2nd gen for 20 years. Very simple to work on. The third gen cars are better but I never cared for the square look. I do like the 4th gen though.

i saw a beutiful srd gen a few days ago, looked compleatly redone, and it didnt look like only a man with a mullet would drive it, that car turned me on to them big time.

You are soooo right! I remember driving my camaro last year and another one just like it, but all primer goes by. The driver's got this john deer hat, mouth full of chew, and the back is jacked up in the air with stock tires. I looked in the mirror, then at the other camaro, and wondered if I looked just as goofy. I decided I was just too old to be driving it anymore.
