Panic Alarm Going Off Indiscriminately

i have a 96 taurus lx that i have been having trouble with the panic alarm going off by itself at no certain intervals. i was wondering if anyone else may have had similiar problems.

previoulsly i had some electrical shorting, causing the battery to drain. the problem was found under the dash on one of the relay boards.

Not much to do. Those Fords are littered with electrical gremblins. You could pull out the alarm???
