I wanna get a header and an exhaust and was wodering if Comptech is really worth the extra money you pay for it compared to Greddy or DC Sports.

I drive a 92 Integra RS

Well I was going to get Greddy, but ended up paying for Comptech headers. The price was only like $20 more at the shop I went to. The only difference would be if you get a 4-2-1 or a 4-1 header. Stainless seems to be the way to go.

yeah, I was gonna go with Stainless steel cause it keeps it all not rusting and looking good! Why not pay the extra bit.... as for 1-2-1 or 4-1 I'm not too sure. Ehich would be better for street driving?

Comptech makes a good product, but the issue of whether it is worth the extra money can be debated. DC makes a comparable header and exhaust. I had some charts on those products (Comptech), if I find them I will edit them into this post...

Well both will be good for street driving. Your not going to notice a huge increase in HP but it will be there. As for the 4-2-1 and 4-1 headers you will have to think about where you want your power to be. If you want the lowend to midrange power get the 4-2-1. This will be good if your looking to have faster take offs from a stop. The 4-1 will offer more midrange to high end power, which will help you increase those speeds on say the freeway.

I prefer the 4-2-1 for everyday driving. It seems to give nice take off.

cool cool, thanks for the info. I was also wondering what you guys thought of the Comptech Icebox? Is it worth it cause I think you could pretty much do the same thing to my stock airbox. Just take the bottom half off.

I wouldnt take the bottom part of the stock airbox off. You wont get any power from that. Just get a CAI. Best bang for the buck when your starting.
AEM is pretty good, but I'm sure the generic brands work just as good.
The only thing is you wont have the pretty AEM running down the pipe.

Hey, 00GSR Was it you that posted some stats on all different kinds of headers like DC, Greddy, Comptech, Mugen and stuff? I think I read it on PH but if you still have those post them up!
