as far as I can tell, if they actually work, then they're illegal. If they don't work, then they're legal.
I have a friend who has one, and he swears it always works - but in the times that we've driven past those radar "speed check" machines on the side of the road, the machines have always given a fairly accurate speed reading...

The best radar jammer you can find/make is an operating microwave connected to the front of your car. They cause wave interference with the radar waves, and it's quite a fashion statement. I'm not sure if blocks laser signals, but it's a fact that it blocks radar.

Don't waste your $$$. I don't care what you read in what Mag or web site. A radar detector does work, it picks up the waves from the Guns. Lazer detector work but, Its to late. the Coppers got you. A Radar Jammer..... Well, The US Navy and Air Force uses them. These are Big units. And no, anything you buy at a store won't jam Radar or Lazers.
The US Army has that green paint that will absord Radar and won't reflect it. But unless you know someone in the Army or Marines you can't buy it.

There is a sure-fire legal way to jam radar. With a HAM radio license you can rig up a transmitter to broadcast the radar equivalent of white noise, effectively jamming automatic detectors and radar guns alike. For laser jamming, the K40 Defuser is your best bet. There is also a spray-on coating that makes license plates unreadable by photo-radar.

No it is not legal. NYC and Boston P.D. did a test on those products and they didn't work. They were still adle to read your Lis. Plate.
