Shaking or rough engine at highway speeds

I have a 92 Rodeo. Recently had the timing chain cover gasket replaced on my 3.1L v6. Before I took it in the shop, she would run fine at highway speeds. Now, she shakes, not vilontly but enough to affect your voice when speaking.
Before I took her into the shop, I noticed that the purge line was disconnected from the vacuum canister. I reconnected it but never went on the highway to check it out. Could the vacuum canister be the problem if blocked or could it be a pulley problem since they need to remove the cam pulley in order to get to the timing chain cover?
Thanks!
Paul

Mine has a "shimmy" it's because I need to replace the wheel bearings in one of the wheels.
Have you had an alignment done to see if that helped?

I hadn't thought of wheel bearings, you see, before the gasket was installed, things were great! But, ya know, even though I had an alignment done last summer, I don't think the bearings were repacked. -thanks, I'll check this out!
