I finnally talked my mother into not driving anymore. (She's 89) So I bought her car from her, it's an 87 Taurus with 22,137 miles on it.
It has been garaged since day one, so the body and interior are perfect.
It need's a muffler and the original tires need to go,
(thought their tread is perfect) and the choke sticks a little, other than that, it runs ok but is very tight feeling.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to break it in right?

It has fuel injection, so there's no choke. Drive it like you want it to run.
Which engine and transmission does it have? There's been some problems with the AXOD four-speed automatic.
Want any info, let me know. I have the '87 Factory Manuals.
