the only "rap" i like isn't rap at all. it's underground hip-hop, and i don't even like too much of that. only if the song is really good will i even consider it. the only, ONLY, reason that i like "mainstream" rap (nelly, ludacris, jay-z etc.) is for the beat. if a song has a good beat, i'll listen to it and try my hardest to tune out the lyrics. i mean honestly, who wants to hear some guy sing about how many cars he has, his Courvoisier, his "ice", his ho's, or his 24's? not me...

that's what turned me off rap for most of my teenage years....

but i'm starting to like it...like the beats that the neptunes put out are pretty good......there are some more mainstream rappers that i listen to, but not many are good....
