just replaced my ignition, help!

I replaced my ignition switch today and everything works fine, but when I take the key out of the ignition and open the door, the beeper stills beeping! keeps beeping until I close the door. Help! how come it beeps without the key in????

It's either a bad ignition key switch, bad door switch, or wiring problem.

Yes there is a switch on the ignition that has a little tiny button, that controls the beeping when the key is in or out the ignition, It maybe be stuck closed.

Im gona take the key switch out and reinstalled it again. This beeping is driving me nuts! :banghead:
