I recently purchased an oil pressure, water/oil temperature, and voltometer gauge so I could monitor my D15b2 engine. I know I know why would I want to put gauges in a car with that stupid engine? Well its because I'm going to see what I can do to it and will soon be spraying a 55 shot from Zex on it. Now don't get on to me about that because I have another D15 just in case this one pops. Could someone tell me where to hook the gauges up to on the engine?

are they mechanical or electornical? oh and you dont need a water temp gauge, you already have one.

They are mechanical and the water/oil can be used for oil pressure also.

oil pressure gauge will most likely work with your stock oil pressure sending unit, which is located on the back of the block.. one male banana plug.
oil temperature gauge usually you have to drill a hole in the oil pan and install the heat probe. a voltmeter will tap into the positive or negative of your battery. (not really sure on that last one.. probably the positive)

best way to do it is to hook the positive to a source (ex. stereo) and the negative 2 a ground on the car that way it comes on when u turn ur car on instead of being on all the time, it'll detect when power goes thru it, thats what i did with mine :D

well of course, you want the gauges only coming on with the key, but its smartest to not hook it up to your stereo, rather run it to your fuse box and use one of the many extra auxilliary key switched power outputs.
