Hey,
I'm new over in these forums, and I am about to build my first model. Just wanted to know if you guys had any tips for me, or could tell me any good products to use (paint, etc...). I will likely being airbrushing everythign that will need to be painted, unless suggested otherwise. Oh yea... the car i'm goin to be building will be the Tamiya Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution V WRC.
thanks

Look here: AF Modeling FAQ (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=63623)
Instruction:
1.) Skim through it once.
2.) Read it throughly.
3.) Skim it one more time for good luck.

Then, come back here and post whatever questions you have them. :)

all i can say is TAKE IT SLOW. for example I primered my rx7, thought there was too little paint on it so I kept going over etc. well now i have been trying to get the paint off it, and im broke so that doesn't help either, lol

So whatever you do, just take it slow. better be safe than sorry

also dont rush AT ALL.... a kit should not take under a week to complete... also better be safe then sorry even if something recommended doesnt seem like it would work... (putting dring car in a tubberware or microwave) take your time on every piece no matter how small or big......AND HAVE FUN :icon16:

Dont touch a part you just finished painting for at least a day or so, this will make sure that you keep your finger prints OFF of everything. and it will keep your hands cleaner :iceslolan
