i got a good scare...

yea so we live out in the boon docks and I get off the main road on my way home from work tonight and just haul ass at about 85-90mph for a couple miles to my place. So i don't see a single car the entire time, and i know theres not places for cops to sit. Anyhow about a half hour after i get home two sherrif cars go by really slow with there search lights goin shining all over our place and the rest of the neighborhood. I got the shit scared outta me cuz i thought maybe they seen me somehow or someone phoned me in. Anyhow it turned out our neighbor, who as been in jail for the last couple months for repeated dwi got in trouble again and they were looking for him to arrest him again. LOL It wasn't me at all, but it just goes to show, respect the speed limit (somewhat) at all times and you don't have to worry.

i dont even know why they have speed limits, cops speed around here like they dont have to obey laws themselves i hate our cops they are gay, md state troopers are ok counts police suck!

ya man I live in NC and TN, and this cop was doin about 80-85 down my 45 road, and I am crusin and he turns his sirens on and slows downand bulls my over by slowing down, yea, that sucked. lol, I made it a point, so I didn't have to pay the ticket...

if there werent speed limits, street racing wouldnt be fun...its just like drugs. if they were legal, it would take the fun right out of it. being 21 in 9 months is gonna be fun but damn only for a little while...then the funs gone. just my opinion though. sometimes i like going the speed limit just to pimp.

just think if we all had radar guns and could give the cops tickets.... then i bet they would start giving us alittle slack.

Cops are such dicks around here that even when I'm driving around town in second gear to make sure I don't exceed the fucked up 25mph s/l I keep my eye on the fuckers until they're out of site, and they I STILL watch behind me thinking they might have known that I was watchin' and so they wait 'til I was out of sight, too, and then they'll turn around and slip up on me.

i did that ...back when i was 15 and should not have been driving... now i have a radar detector!! haha, i call it my "bacon sniffer" lol no offence to any police one the board :biggrin:

Thing is police are getting new toys, so you have to shell out more money for gadgets that dectect and confuse these new toys.

That "bacon sniffer" of yours won't do crap when these Trekkies start shootin' their lasers at ya. You may need to consider an upgrade...it'll cost ya a little though.

Cops need to spend more time catchin' criminals than they do worryin' about someone goin' 10 miles over the limit.

yea I really wasn't going that fast. I was actually behind two cars going into a turn. It's just we got these import HATING redneck faggot cops up here with big dips in there mounths driving monster trucks an shit. I was in my lil honda with tinted out windows, lowered, body kit, rims and he was mid to late 20s with a monster dip in so I knew I was screwed lol

it's ok he was a city cop in another county, he had no pen ( borrowed mine to write my own ticket), he repeated he wasn't on duty or he'd tow my car several times, he wasn't in uniform, and all sorts of other shit was wrong with the ticket and paper work so I'm hoping i'll get off with only a 70mph speeding ticket and they will drop the wreckless driving. but who knows.

Anyways, to be on topic, they were giving out so many tickets to people (me included) the county clerks office was dropping them all down to only 10 miles over.

Ticket quotas have never been a secret where I come from (Chicago) Everybody knows that at the end of the month, cops are out with the sole intent to write as many tickets as possible to make quota. My friend's mom works for the Skokie Police Dept and has told me many times to watch my ass between the 23rd and 30th (or 31st) of every month! Just my :2cents:

Cops can be a$$holes sometimes. Just this morning, on my way to church, I got pulled over for having expired plates (I forgot to put my new sticker on), but then told me that my car was stolen. She took my lic. and insurance card while her cronies (5 of them) stood around and looked at my car. Then she came back and said she would let me off with a warning as my Christmas present from her. :rolleyes: If she caught me without the new sticker again she will, quote- "write me several tickets."

I suppose Grand Theft Auto by a 20 year old on probation does warrant a warning. Right??? Or was it that the plates NEVER CAME UP AS STOLEN?

I agree. I'll be 21 in Feb. and I'm on probation, too. They pulled me over for expired tags, but I wound up goin' to jail because I hadn't paid a ticket, and there was a warrant out for me.

What pissed me off was that while I was there, for fuckin' non-payment of fines, they treat you like a car thief or murderer or something. That's BS. They think they're all better than you. There were also a couple of drunks in there they were REALLY bein' rough with. Older guys, in their 60's or so. That's not right.

civichbsi91...how can you say the MD staties are okay?! they're assholes! that station down on aviation road....man that dudes an asshole. but anyway..yeah if you don't break the law you have no reason to be afraid when cops are around. oh well.
