engine trouble

i'm hoping some one can give me advice, i have a 97 eclipse non turbo with 98k miles on it that i bought a few months ago and today it started having a problem were it would take a long time to accelerate kind of spuddering in 1st gear it felt a lot like begin in a too high of a gear, like being in 2nd from a stop. this car has had transmission problems in the pass about a month ago i took it to a tranny specailist and they put a new clutch and fixed some bearings inside the tranny. the only mod i have is a cold air intake
if and one has any ideas on what is going please help

if it feels like the tranny you might need tranny fluid, or even better a tranny flush! if that doesnt help, check your spark plugs and wires... hope that helps!!!
