have you noticed?

have you noticed that all nissans good cars and many other car companies have stopped the production of "true" cars? they are all starting to just LOOK GAY and way too futeristic. In 10,15 years how many of them are going to be left? i think the S15 was the last true nissan car.

whatever, have you driven a g35? They are so awesome. My mom got one for a rental when she took the qx4 to get its oil changed. I did not want to give it back.

I completly disagree. While the 350Z has had it's small technical problems, and a few small niggles amongst customers, the driving pleasure from it is stunning. I can see why 2 S15 owners I know have sold them back to Nissan and 'upgraded'.

i reckon the newer cars look crap, but thats just my opinion...sure there must be some people who agree...I know many who feel the same way because renault is controlling nissan and its starting to piss me off

How can you say the 350Z looks crap? It's one of the most muscular, purposeful design they've made in years.

i didnt like the headlights at first.. but if u look closely the 300zx was bound to turn into the 350z.. it has a rounded c-pillar.. almost the same headlight shape.. and its hoodline caries to the back. i think its the best design u can get for 27,000 US.. so whatever u say man.. if its a bug, then i wanna be a "bug-ologist" :D

yeah 350z is tight man. Actually when i first saw it, I didn't like the design either, looked too weird at first. But then I grew to love it, seeing it on the streets, it's a beaut. I plan to give up my 240sx for a 350z when I'm out of college. I think the newer cars now look a lot better than any other year, g35's, maximas, altimas, accords, grand prixs and ams, bmw 5 series and z4's, toyota solara, the list goes on and on.

im with s15, the 350z looks like garbage. fat obese overweight garbage. it looks too tall and not sleek or muscular at all like the previous 300zx.

on the otherhand, i love the g35 2door. but that car is for luxury not racing like the 350. the g35 seems more muscular to me for some reason...

old school cars for life...fc3s, s13, 86...

too bad they dont pick up chicks like the new cars do...

I don't know. I kindof like the G35 slightly better than the 350Z. Don't get me wrong, they're both gorgeous cars but I kindof like the different styling of the Infiniti.

i kinda like the g35 a bit better than the 350 as well. but i would never call the 350 ugly, its pretty bad ass. i have to agree with logikal, i like old school cars like the fc and s13...

350Z is one of my dream cars. i dunno what you all are talking about, but i think it's a piece of sex on wheels. fantastic design.

also, the RX-8 is a jewel too. i would take one of those in a second. i parked beside one at the movies last night, and spent a good 5 minutes drooling over it. beautiful...

also love the G35 coupe. yeah, it's MEANT to be luxury, but it's very easy to turn it into a track-machine, and i think it's only a matter of time before you see one in the D1 series...companies will start making parts for them ASAP.

i do think that most of the newer cars don't look as good as the older ones...including the 350z. While it may look stunning, it is a bit portly, it has an n/a v6 and the interior styling is way too futuristic looking. The door handles stand out too much for my taste too. The G35 is nice, but as with the 350z, it's not exactly a small touring machine as much as a larger cruiser.

Most of my favorite designs are pre-2000...mkIV supra, z32 300zx, s13 and s14 240sx, mkII mr2, 2nd and 3rd gen rx7, esprit s4, NSX, etc etc etc....

Besides the 350z/g35...most new cars look like ass...they are starting to become too much like american cars with their larger displacement naturally aspirated engines and their obese-ness.

im with klohiq, i think its got something to do with us growing up with these cars, and learning to get used to them and love them. as many of you said "at first i didnt like the 350z" i think you just got used to it. every generation of cars are like this, how many old people do you see driving minies, mustangs, beetles, and other old-school cars, well heaps. ages from now, we are gonna be those old men driving the cars that we love today, and believe it or not those cars will be called old-school in 40 years or so. imagine what the cars will look like in 40 years and how different they would be, we proboably would have got so used to these futeristic cars that we would just accept them...
hope that kind amakes sense...

S2000 anyone?

my sister has an s2000, i don't really like it. It's a very small roadster car, basically a girl car. Fits my sis b/c she's tiny and petite, just like the S2000. Racing wise it's good, but if it was built purely for racing they should have made it non-convertible.

S2000 is only cool on the highway.

Total PITA in traffic, its dickless and has no torque, and you will be shifting every other second.

Did I mention its a fuckin blast, revs like a 250cc bike, and gets tons of attention :)

the S2000 aight, real fast for a NA, but you gotta love the NSX :) isnt it 0-60mph in 5 seconds non turbo?

something like that... regardless I've been dreaming about having one (and NSX), it's 240+SR on the way for now though

the concept r35 looks crappy but its gonna be hella fast, you guys think the r35 engine could fit in the S15? that would be a dream!

350z is very solid in its looks. that "wide" feel is truely the standard for sport compact cars. g35 is GORGEOUS! how can anyone go wrong?! these nissan cars have gotta be the ish for the next couple of years even decades!

however, i heard of some recall for 350z/z/g35/r35. so whoever bought it should return it. i wouldn't care personally. nice car as is. any imperfection of the car would balanced with the chemistry of the car and driver =)
