If you are considering buying a Ford product all I can say is BUYER BEWARE. I have a 2000 Taurus (3 years old right now) and just had a repair bill of $1,700 to replace a axle seal on the transmission. Ford is refusing to stand behind their product whatsoever and was told "repairs are YOUR responsibility". PERIOD.

NEVER AGAIN.

hey i had some problems with my car as well.. i have a 1998 taurus.... n like they say 5 yrs is the life of a domestic car...well just like about 4 months ago my fuel pump went out...that was a pain...then the pump for my washer fluid broke...following that my heating broke my thermostat was bad and my heater core was plugged up....all these problems started with the container of my anti-freeze breaking.... i feel your pain with the money you spend on just that repair...
