adjusting boost

how do you adust the boost on the 1g eclipse turbo, TD05h 14b? do you have to buy a boost controller or can it be manually adjusted without the use of an external wastegate. if so how do you go about doing this?

you can make a MBC out of fittings from the local hardware store and 4-5 bucks out of your pocket...I'll try to get you the link later, I'm kinda lazy to search right now
