Headers on a '73

Does anyone know if the El Cheapo headers from summit will fit properly on a '73? I don't have much money, and I need a new exhaust. Consicuently, It's cheaper to purchas an exhaust from summit, rather than have a local shop do it for me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

My first car was a 73' El Camino and the first thing I did was install headers and dual exhaust.I bought a cheap pair of Blackjack headers and an OEM style set of connector pipes,a pair of turbo mufflers and OEM style tail pipes and voila,Duals on the cheap!But I would like to point out a few downfalls to this setup,the cheapie headers make changing a couple of the plugs a real B*&$@ to change and they rust pretty quick! The problem with the OEM style pipes is they are only 2" which defeats the flow gained by the headers.If you plan to keep the car then I suggest waiting(if you can)until you have enough cash to do it right,ie: A good set of alumicoated headers,Custom bent pipes,a good set of mufflers (Flowmaster is what I run right now on my 69' Blazer) and tail pipes.(I installed a trick 2 into 1 setup on my Blazer,2 custom bent 2&3/4" pipes off the stock manifolds into 1 flowmaster 70 series muffler with a single 3" tailpipe. Sounds awesome,increased my fuel mileage,and was fairly inexpensive.)

The manufacturer should list what applications their headers are made for.
