I travel quite a bit, not always in my car. But in my wandering around I have come across some stretches of road that are simple great to drive. For example:
Californication: Hwy 1 between Monterrey and San Luis Obisbo. It follows the central coastline for about 110 miles.
Arkansas. 271 between Hot Springs and Mena. It's a hilly, twisty, windy, sparcely populated 90 mile stretch through the most natural part of the state. Hills, forest, lakes, really smooth pavement.

Where I live in the Poconos, there are some nice windy, hilly roads. The only problem is the roads are all shitty because of the winter snow. When freshly paved they are great to drive through.
