Drag race: S500 Coupe vs. CLK270 CDI

My friend's pretty proud of his new 2003 CLK.
I'm gonna put an end to that cocky attitude of his.
But I need to know some stuff first.
First of all, he isn't a car freek, his CLK only has the CLK emblem at the back of his car, so I don't know what I'm up against, if it's the slow 200 or the 270 CDI? It won't go any higher than 270, the higher cc engines are only for the very rich here, because of the extremely high road tax.
I would challenge him to a drag race in the near future, on a race track that is, but I need to whether my stock standard 1994 S500 Coupe will be able to smoke him?
Any advice other than not to race him?
Thanks in advance.

I would say unless it is a 500 or 55, you will win for sure.

Thanks for the info.
What's the torque for my S500 Coupe and his CLK?

the CLK 200 kompressor has a torque of 240Nm
CLK270 CDI has a torque of 400Nm
your S500 has a torque of 354lb-ft, which is around 480Nm
