sore winners??

So tonight I was on the way back into town when I met up with a second gen RX7. I used to have one of these, so I knew it was an NA RX7. I figure what the hell? Lets have a bit of fun. We came to a stoplight together and I looked over to find the driver motioning to race. OK, lets race. We both rev up, me to about 3,000, him to who knows what. The light turns green and away we go. First gear he pulled me just a little but then I was a little too caught up in the moment and let the clutch back out before I was all the way into second... :banghead: That cost me part of a second or whatever but I kept moving. By this time he had me by a car but I was gaining back a little. Too late, we were coming up on another light and slowing down, I lost. SO... I start slowing down, and so does he but then out of nowhere he cuts right over in front of me like less than a car length ahead and hits the brakes!! Caught me off gaurd a little bit so I slammed on my breaks all the while thinking WTF??? He procedes to speed back up and take the next left. :disappoin

I don't know about you guys but I don't race that much, there isn't much racing going on around here so when I do get a decent chance I like to enjoy it, then afterwards slow down and at least wave to the other car then be on my way. I guess some people are just dickheads!

Man that would have about pissed me off for a good week. People nowadays can't just have fun anymore. :disappoin He sped off and took the next left though so probably was a little nervous about what he did and didn't want to see you face-to-face. Straight B.I.T...you know the rest. Maybe you will get a good ass race soon to make up for that one.

tonight i raced a civic hatchback and he beat me
so i didn't really care if i lost but i at least like to give a nod or thumbs up to the guy. i pull up to him and he gives me the finger.

too bad too i woulda liked to talk to him bout what he had under there... oh well

yeah i hate people like that and i hate the freakin gansta racers that are dogging like they want to kill you and are like cussin lets do this ill smolke you and this and that i hate those kinda of peeps i like people that are kool and relaxed and are like thats nice man wanna run it or something like that non assholes basically.

i know what you mean about the gangster racers. we have a car show every friday and all the imports pull up and open up their hoods to show people what they have, this one kid came two weeks in a row talking shit to everyone asking if they wanted to race but everyone was scared of him they though he was going to bust a cap in someones ass or something. :uhoh: so finally the second week my friend with a SATURN got pissed off and raced him my friend killed him and he's not even near the fastest one out there he runs low 14's. needless to say the kid never came back and everybody lived happily ever after. :smile:

i think the reason why some winners turn off or like to be dicks. is so they don't get raced again, because theres a chance they'll lose. seeing as their first win was probably pure luck

ex: you fucking up second gear, giving them the lead, and they know they won because of that.

logical but inconsiderate. I go to the store and need some stuff, but dont have any money, no cops, no cameras... the logical thing would be to steal right? Apparently. I just slow down and let people pass then get in the lane rather than cut someone off. Back on topic, I agree, thats the worst thing, everyones gotta be a prick now-a-days, they cant just have fun, especially the losers(the ones that take off and try and race, then when u beat them they start talking shit, even when they have ugly ass 6 cylinders, I can see them doggin my car... lol... theyd have to save up for years to afford a nice car like we got.) that would SOUND logical, however he is the one that signalled for me to race him... and after he brake checked me it was not an immediate left turn... it was up a decent enough distance so as to make it clear it was just him being an ass.
