Yeah, 1980 to be exact for me.
Yeah, that was their best album. You should grab The Vault. It is their greatest hits, pretty good stuff.

Welcome to 2003 people! :screwy:
I liked Def Leppard back when Hysteria came out, but haven't exactly been a fan since... I still really like "Photograph" off of Pyromania though.

This thread is dedicated to soft pop metal from the late 80's, thank you ;)
I'm now listening to Scorpions 'Love at First Sting', good stuff..

Eh. new age music totaly blows. All i hear on the radio anymore is brittny spears, rap, hardcore metal thats almost rap, poser bands, and techno. Absolutly hate techno. If you want to give someone you dislike a migrane, play this shit loud.

Then y'all are listening to the wrong stations or something.
But pop music has ALWAYS been pop music, and hasn't changed a bit since it's inception. Pop music is there to make a profit, so it's going to be catchy, but musically worthless.
But there's plenty of stuff out there that's great, no matter what you're into.
So, you're saying you haven't heard any decent "new" music for the last 10 years?! I'd say that either, you're stuck in that time-period, or you're just exaggerating.

Not to start a music battle or anything but I blame rap for the decline in good music. In my opinion its really not music, all they do is talk about "shootin ho'z" and "snortin coke in muh caddy yo" and all that crap.
80's = pwn. :uhoh:
