My Carb?

when i stomp on my gas in my 83 z28 w/ a 350 it sometimes stalls/ or bogs down, i was told this may just be my carb needs to be cleaned or fuel filter...im not sure but could some1 give me a clue on what needs to be done?

Start by buy a couple of cans of carb cleaner, it's cheap and easy to do.
Then if nothing changes you need to look at stuff like the throttle plates.
They could be opening up quicker than the engine can take fuel.
Someone else needs to elaborate on this for me.
