how to make ur own decals?

hey, i was wondering if u guys had any idea or tips on how to make ur own decals. thanks max

I know there are various kits out there and it helps to have a ALPS printer (fairly expensive) I think some have done it with a ink jet but not sure.

If you have an inkjet printer, whenever you print on this special decal paper, it needs to be sealed to become water proof. Testors just came out with a decal maker set that includes some pre-made decals in a little disc, 2 sheets of decal paper (1 clear, 1 white), and a can of sealer. I bought myself one, but haven't used it yet.

In the past I've sucessfully used a laser printer to print graphics on clear decal paper. Then I sealed them with some Microscale Liquid Decal Film which protects the ink when you immerse the decal in water to release it. While the results weren't as sharp and clear as proper screen printed decals, they were acceptable.
