Ok I am looking at buying this car:

1993 HONDA PRELUDE SRV, V-tech, 5 speed, full load, cold air intake, exhaust, very well maintained, immaculate condition inside & out, 120,000 kms, only asking $11,500. (canadian)

first of all, would i be getting hosed...?

second, do these preludes have anything that they are well known for (ie. engines blowing at a certain amount of km/miles, etc)

are they reliable,? thx
Lance

The best car you could buy! Is that a dealer or private sale? Im in Ont. and 93's go between $9,000 - $11,000. But if its in really good shape then the extra money is worth it.

I just got mine last week..96 SR-V 140,000k for $12,000. Same deal.. previous owner was original..and it was a woman, who treated it like her baby.

As for the car..Honda engines will last forever. 120,000 kms is nothing for that car..its barely broken in. The only thing you will have to do to that car is change the oil every 5k. Im not worried about mine at all. I'll be dead before the car is.

Love the heated seats! (sorry American friends!)
