What is the difference between a Barracuda and a Cuda'? Is the Cuda a trim package or something?

The cuda was the Hi Po version. It came with engine choices of 340, 383, 440 and the al mighty 426 Hemi

They started calling a Barracuda a Cuda in like 1967, I think it was, and even the body changed on them. Just look at the body shape of the 1966 and then of the 1967 they look totally different.

They actually started same year as the mustang 1964.

The Cuda came out in 1970 as an E body with the Lower performance version still called a Barracuda.
Here are my Cudas. the convertible has the "Cuda" hood, A shaker was an option. The barracuda had the flat hood. See the grey car with the ornage hood.

Yea i was thinking it was 1970. But I just knew the body changed big time between 1966 and 1967. I have a 1966 Barracuda and that body is shaped really different, it has alot more curves in it. I wish I had a picture of it. Well thats all I know.
