No. You got a problem with techno bitch? Prefer Hard Trance and Hard NRG myself, but never have a go at others tastes.

Besides Poison the Well I like:

Beautiful Mistake(I was surprised to learn that they were a christian band)
Boy Sets Fire(they're getting kinda mainstream so I don't know)
From Autumn to Ashes(b/c more mainstream but they still kick ass)
Hopesfall(just a great band overall)
On Broken Wings(pretty damn good)
Shai Hulud(they're growin' on me)
and of course Alkaline Trio(one of my favorites)

Emo is just about the gayest crap you can listen to...that's just my opinion though, apparently some people like it.

thats what the genres i stated earlier met to me :loser:

any ways, besides poison the well i also listen to From autumn to ashes, hopesfall, throwdown, thrice, shai hulud, across five aprils, on a regular basis, and lots of others that i have on my computer.
Have to say Poison the Well has to be the best out there, any type of band, talking about real life stuff, not drinking beer and screwing whores.

Marc - if, by emo, you mean Dashboard Confessional and stuff like that, then i couldn't agree more. that stuff is lame. this isn't Dashboard Confessional. Emo-core is the same kind of lyrics and meanings, but with ALOT more edge...and it's alot louder too.

I would classify Dashboard as pop punk now that they're so mainstream. I hate pop punk! Those guys think their cool as hell and think their punk, but their not true punk.

hahah, its like all the ROTC kids at my school that listen to Blink 182 and wear "dickies" all the time, telling me that i should wear dickies and sweat bands from skateboarding companys. They dont skate, theyre not punk, and are trend followers for wearing dickies. hate shit like that, and hate pop punk, but i would not classify dashboardconfessional as pop punk, when almost every song they have is acoustic, how can that be punk? we all know good charlotte, simple plan, and new found glory. All american rejects all fit this description, and id go out on a a lemb as saying The Used, The Ataris, AFI, Taking back sunday, and other bands in that category also go as pop punk

I'd would agree on anything except for AFI well I can't really think of a category they do belong in I wouldn't consider them punk or pop-punk.

i agree. AFI is more hardcore punk if you ask me.

and if you EVER go so far as to call one of my top-5 favourite bands, Taking Back Sunday, pop-punk again, i will personally hunt you down and castrate you. :banghead:

The Used is far from poppy either. so one of their songs got a bit of radio-play. so what? they're still a killer band.

Good Charlotte, Pimple Plan, New Found Gayness...that i can agree with. they've all gone way too mainstream now and all they sing about is how they hate their dad's or how they hate high school and shit...grow up, man. i hate bands who sing about shit like that.

oh, and i see nothing wrong with wearing Dickies...they make good pants. i don't wear them to fit in or look trendy, i wear 'em cause they're high quality and instead of the $80 a pair you seem to have to pay for a good pair of pants these days, Dickies are only like $35.

Hell yeah. POISON THE WELL!!!

I saw them not too long ago down here in FL w/ Avenged Sevenfold, Dillinger Escape Plan, 18 Visions and a few others. What an awsome show. Dillinger was friggin crazy. PTW owned and Avenged Sevenfold blew me away. Can you say mosh??? On another note I'm so pissed I had to miss Slayer, Hatebreed and Arch Enemy, I will never forgive myself :banghead:
