ENZO modelling Mistake...

Has anybody noticed :dunno: the mistake that the modellers are making when building the ENZO Ferrari?? Or is it a mistake??
If you look on the front Cowl at the bottom there is a seam line just underneath the front lights at the bottom on the Base side panel that is not on the original ENZO. I just find it dissapointing :disappoin that the guys are leaving out such an important piece of detailing on such a magnificent machine!!
Take a look for yourself.

Just thought I would point it out. No offense Saint, Your's was just a good example. :icesangel I think your work is brilliant. I've just seen the same thing on all the ENZO models so far. Except the one from Tamiya. ;)

Indeed, on their site and in official pictures it shows the tamiya people have sorted this problem out.
Although I think that The revell one has the right front , or am I wrong?

Well, I don't so much think that Tamiya fixed the problem. I just think that when Tamiya built theirs, they must've used Tamiya Putty Filler or something before they painted. What do you think?

Can you be a bit more clear, reading your first post I am not sure where exactly I am supposed to be looking for this 'line' that is either there or missing?
Here is Warren's Enzo, what am I looking for?

Well; Yeah, that's what I meant with "fixing"
It's actually not difficult to do this; just use some putty to fix it, it's just a detail though, and I don't think many people will find it very important, so whatever .
Although If I were to build one, I would prolly look twice , now that I have this info.
and indeed revell Germany did a better job then tamiya doing this , it has got the right lines.

Both Tamiya and Revell "goofed" on this detail where there is a line separating the front bumper vertically down to the black exposed chassis line. It's a concession to molding obviously, and easily fixed w/putty or superglue. Just look at the front bumpers on the models, and the boxart models, to see the "extra" line where the model companies separated the parts. The one on Tamiya's site is properly detailed, the small vertical line at the junction of the front cowling and front bumper has been filled. I would go one further and scribe the horizontal line from the bumper to the front wheel opening. I'm glad to know about this before starting mine. :icon16:

The panel line continues to the bottom rather than end at the lip then goes horizontal along the bottom.

Ray, Chuck, thanks! I was looking at the centre of the bumper ... couldn't even find the centre of the bumper LOL! :D
Edit: Ray, I almost commented on your "circling" skills :D
And since we are on the topic, which line does Bob want to add?

I knew that, and I eliminated the seam lines on both Revell and Tamiya kit. he he

And since we are on the topic, which line does Bob want to add?
The horizontal line aft of the filled vertical line, that goes horizontally back to the wheel. I want to make sure that line is scribed deep enough to properly look like the two parts are indeed separate.

Well, if that looked like a circle to you, then you really need to clean those red tinted glasses of yours because it's nowhere near a circle :screwy:
