Quick question: My Probe wouldn't trun over so I went out and bought a new battery. It ran fine for about a week but now I have no juice and the battery is drained when I try to start my car again. Anyone know what else it could be??? Any help would be appreciated!!!

Could be the alternator is bad.

I checked the Alternator and it is fine. The new battery is drained though. Thanks for the reply - if you think of anything else please post.

You need to have the altinator diodes tested to make sure one is not bad. Once you rule that out then you need to do a draw test on the battery to see if something is remaining on. Sometimes it could be easy like a glove box light or a stereo amp staying powered up. Other times it could be a radio or ecu controller. Draw tests require special tools and they check milliamp draw. To narrow the circuit thats bad, one has to monitor the amp meter and pull fuses one at a time till the draw goes away. Thats how you find what circuit is pulling the battery down.
Any good mechanic should be able to fix this problem.
I once had a late model suburban that had onstar and it would call in @ 11:00pm and stay on all night. By morning the battery was dead. This was the draw. Don't ask me how long it took to find that problem!!
Good luck.
:)
