I was about to say.. that's Ray Charle.... ooooh... looka the drifting in the siiggg.... oooooooooh.... silvia.......... mmmmm.... ok I'm back. Sorry.. had to watch Bryan's sig a few times. The lambo ain't that interesting, but the silvia is BEAUTIFUL. Anyways it should be a requirement that everyone do their first chop on a civic or a mustang or something.. No more killing beautiful cars!
Dirty... use COLORIZE... not Hue/Saturation/Lightness.. COLORIZE.

Mmmm I love black cars. If I had my way every car in the world would be black. :D
There is a colorize on photoshop you just have to find it... I thought you were using paint shop, which has it's own colorize section. On photoshop, it's actually under Hue Saturation. Go to Image>Adjustments>Hue/Saturation. Under that is a checkbox for "Colorize" use it.. It gets you much more realistic color.
Here's a pic to show you. The front half was done using hue/saturation/lightness. The dark spots get a lot darker, and the light spots get darker too. The back half was done using colorize, which keeps the same luminosity as the original, so if I had been less careless and tweaked the saturation a little more, it looks a lot more like it belongs in the pic, which the paint on your merc. doesn't, because it looks too dark. The orange stripe is the original color of the car.
