Greetings.... I am one of the many DSM owners who have the damn flip up head lihgts. Can i change out the hood, fenders, bumper to make it a 1992 front end. I really hate the head lights and would like to get just regular lights.. what do ya think> thanks in advance!

P.S. are there any other options???

OK, well, i dont know about all that, but i do know that the 92-94 head lights are really expensive, like $500 new, but if you were to find them in a junk yard or something, a good way to clean them up and get rid of the yellow haze is to use rubbing compound, worked good for me. (i have heard toothpaste works good too, but be careful, i would imagine that would be pretty harsh on the plastic). Sorry i cant help with info on the conversion, good luck!

how can you not love the pop ups, thats why people get the 90-91s

what you dont like about them?
you can always take the fuse out so they stay down, you'll have to drive with the high beams always but it seems to work for some people

I guess i just hate that the will prob stop working again. only one of mine works right now. I just hate to buy one or two new motors and then they stop in a year or so. They are kind of costy. I would rather put that $$$ into speed, not light motors! ya know??
