Braking Problem

My 92 Legend has been bothering me with the braking problem. When I first got it 5 years ago, I had to press the pedal down to the floor to stop the car. After some fixing from the shop, there is another problem. :banghead: I hear the loud sound like stretching and twisting a balloon when I press the brake. I am glad that it only happens in the first 5 minutes after I start the car or on rainy days. My mechanic checked on it so many times and gave up the search now. Does anyone know what happens here? And can you tell me what cause the front wheels shake violently while making a turn.

Beside these two problems, I am very happy with my Legend.

I cant tell you what's exactly wrong with it, but for one, either your rotors or your shoes are bad, and about the shaking when you turn, must be your suspension, when you hear skreeching when you brake, its definately your shoes scratching the rotors.
