Hi,

I have noticed lately that when i mention CRX people seem to have respect for the car, but when i mention hatches they just get kinda sarcastic with me.
For example, after x-mas im planning on buying a CRX but i was also considering a 4th gen hatch.
Me: Im thinking about getting a hatch
Someone I was talkin to: :disappoin Ur gonna be like everyone else

Me: Well, actually im pretty sure I am gonna buy a CRX
Him: get the CRX!

But its not just that, like everyone I talk to they seem like they like the idea of my getting a CRX. But If i mention hatch they just seem to get dissapointed about it, lol.

Anyways, im gonna get a CRX after chirstmas. ANd I was jus wondering if any of u know people that feel that way toward CRX vs Hatches.

Lots of people said that I should have got a rex. They just don't understand. The hatchback is where its at.

CRX and Hatch, they're the same damned car, except one has a back seat, and the other has a backseat in Japan. I think more people just think the CRX has more of a sporty look to it.

I have a soft spot in my heart for both cars, but if I really had to choose one, it would be a crx.

A lot of people in my town hate both cars. When I first got my crx I was all excited and tell everyone and I'd always get this response, "A honda is like a tampon, ever pussy has one". My friends are a bunch honda haters, I'm the only one in my group who tunes one. The rest all drive Vdubs.

No one believe's the crx is going to stomp on my friends mk4 vr6 (i,e,lowered on tokico hp's)........I can't wait to give him a taste of vtec.

Well, i own one, so i would say CRX, arnt they lighter than the hatch's n e wayz? and i have a DX and it handles better than any other car i have owned.
Owned:
90 Supra Turbo
96 Ford T-bird V8
94 Ford F-150
88 Chrysler Le-baron Turbo
:thefinger

My crx out handles all of the above, but isnt as fast of any of em yet until i do my swapp.
I say go with a rex, but we all have diffrent opions

I kninda have to lean toward the hatch since I have one. Everyone in my town that tunes hondas are either 92+ or a crx there are only like 3 4th gen hatches i've seen and they are all riced out, and 2 4th gen sedans, one is just lowered and the other is lowerd witha z6 swap and turbo'd. I like the shape of a hatch more.

Its the huge windows that make me love the hatch more than a rex.. I feel a little couped up in a rex, because the back of them feels so enclosed.. It makes them feel small.

And I'm a sucker for the really boxy little shape. :D

I just think the Hatches look better. Maybe it's because of the slope to the back window of that turns me off. I do love those big back windows though.

CRXs tend to over here because they are 30bhp up on power plus they look sweet - but the hatch is my love :)

I think the CRX will continue to increase in respect as it gets older. Right now, it's in the "old crappy car" stage, but in a few years, enthusiasts and laymen alike will recognize it as a classic Honda sports car.

i wouldnt be complainin' about hatches... especially when no one EVER talks about sedans. Only 1 ! person has even mentioned sedans in here. Optimiscivic. Sedans can get same swaps.. couple body kits.. :icon16: same headlights.. we're starting to have hoods ! :naughty: And last but best of all.. OUR CARS ARE ALSO GOOD FAMILY CARS ! :iceslolan :smokin: "Geez, i love it when my friends dont have to push me against my steering wheel when im too lazy to get out when he's getting in,, sigh*" j/p
And we got good trunk space.. backseats are huge ! Plenty of foot room even compared to cars now adays.. head room also. Our trunk is home for our subs, and we still have PLENTY of room for other ish*

i dun' see why sedans aren't included as much as the hatch and crx.. :sly:

The thing that gets me about sedans is that for a sedan, they're still quite small. My girlfriend is looking for a new car and I'm trying to push her towards a 90ish Accord, or a Camry or Protege.. She keeps finding 4g sedans because they're cheap and she likes that, but they seem pretty unsafe for a sedan to me.

Being a owner of both. I like the crx better as far as fun goes. Rewind time back to around 98-2000 era before they seemed to be "old beater cars" chicks really liked my crx and no one really liked the hatch as much. I find the hatch more usefull and they both handled similar to me except the crx had front and rear swaybars. If i had my choice now Id get another 92-95 dx coupe....I need a bigger car and the dx is light and a h22 would be fun daily driver....I need torque since my new project car puts about 300lbs of it to the crank.
