What ohm should the tps sensor be at in neutral or trottle closed position? On a 89 lx 4dr 1.5l dpi motor. Please help.

I might be able to answer that question for you. At school theres a couple computer programs that have the specs to everything you could ever want. Im sure this will be on there, plus im also curious.

Here's my quick hint:

DONT!!!!!!

You mess with it and you are screwed.

If its not working properly then go to a wreckers and get a throttle body with the TPS untouched on it. It's factory set for a purpose.

No need to worry about messing with it, i have taken off my TPS sensor and swapped it with a good one off a 96 DX throttle body. As long and he has a digital volt meter, he can set it to OEM specs at .5V closed throttle and 4.5 WOT. TPS sensor can be adjusted properly if you know what you are doing(its easy), YES i agree Honda put headless screws on the TPS for a reason..so people can't mess with it, but when your TPS goes bad and you dont have alot of money to buy a whole Thottle body with TPS, might as well bust out the dremel tool and swap out the TPS instead.

Thank You I needed that # .5v ok and yes it is being replaced because it was bad. I hated those screws on the tps sensor what I did was notch then into standard head screws and then backed them out with a very short screw driver.
