my teen son and i are looking at a 90 infiniti m30 in great shape but with a lot of miles. the deal is very good but the miles worry me a little even tho i know 150K miles is half what most japanese cars will withstand. i guess im wanting to hear from m30 owners to see if they can shine some light on this for me. the motor is the same as a 90 maxima but i know nothing about the auto tran, cooling, abs brakes, elec windows, sunroof, seats, etc. if anyone knows of any problems with this particular model i would thank you for a reply.

well 150 miles is alot, If it is in good condition though and well taken care of it will be a great purchase. I have a 1990 M30 coupe and it has 113000 miles and it runs like brand new. I bought it from a freind at 83,000 miles. One part of buying the M30 is to make sure it is of good quality. Make sure the paint and leather are well taken care of- this will tell you if other things are well taken care of. I love my M30, it is an extremely reliable car that performs Quite well if you know what i mean. My favorite thing is th RWD and ok acceleration. As far as probles, the biggest you will have is brake problems. The only problem i tend to have is with thebrakes. After fixing the master cylinder they have diminished though. the m30s engine is actually more similar to the 89Z rather than the maxma. if you have any questions contact me and i could tell you more. I have worked with alot of M30s and now a good amount.
