need help how can 350z be that fast????

i know im bad some time,but now ineed aNissan pro.my buddy is leaving NEW Orlens.yesterday me n him had a race he drive 350z A/T i pop his hood it seem like nothing much stuff ,normal stock.i drive my sti but he smoke me, so itry my evo,igot smoke one more time,how could that be possible,this is not bullshit,i know u guys will say i dont know how to drive stick,but my buddy have won alotta car like vett,stang,evo and alot more, that how he got all that money.but his car is just like stock..i ask him what he got he said "is not the right time yet " .do u guys know any new stuff from japan!!!....i feels there is alot of pick up power on his car ..need help ...

Where I'm at in the US, that 350Z stock isn't going to be beating an evo, sti, or vette. The only possible explanation I can think of is that the 350Z is quite frankly, not stock.

And you did say its an auto? That lowers the odds of winning a bit more.

So what i'm getting from this is that from japan, a new modification came out for the 350 but, its created some type of problem with your car? Whats up?

This is what I don't like about young import enthousiasts. Everything is a big secret. It's like nobody knows how to make horsepower and one person discovered the secret and he's not telling anyone. Give me a break. Give me any car and a some extra money and I'll make that car faster. I can understand why you want secrets with people you may gamble against though. I have a coworker who fitted a turbo on his VW and used part of his frame as the intake piping off the compressor. Now that's sneaky! It looks like a crappy late 70's VW Scirocco then he nails the gas and you hear that blow off valve. Uh oh.

I've posted a lengthy thread about this before, I'll even take it one step further, especially if you have to go around corners. Give me access to a tire pressure gauge and an alignment rack and I'll make the car faster without spending any money. Going fast in a straight line doesn't impress me unless you're going over 200 MPH at the end of the 1/4 mile. If you want to talk about hot street cars with big power, I still haven't seen anything that has more tuning potential than the Supra twin turbo, where you can get 700 streetable, reliable HP relatively easily.

BTW, I'll take my stock engined STi against your modded 350Z automatic :rolleyes: any day in the snow or rain up here in New England. Extra HP doesn't help if you can't get it to the ground.

NO guys,yes u r right some money u may getpower butwhatever is on my car is pushing 380 hp n 345whp with out turbo or any supercharge ,no big modi just one .........opps i tell too much...but to be true ihave some problem with it l loose the trc control.and used alot of gas ,what it supose to do is save gas no big modi and is cheeper than turbo or suprrcharge wayyyy...cheeper...man this ting come out turbo is no longer use full...n my future stepdad is gonna be rich....ihope.....he still remember me

hmmm, 30% power increase, loss of a switch, cheaper than turbo or supercharger, and uses more fuel. Sounds like nitrous to me.
