electric locks go bezerk

Hi, I'm new to the forum as this is the first real problem I've had with my 98 sport. The locks stopped working consistently a while ago. No prob. I don't really need them. However, now they go crazy locking themselves repeatedly even with the key out of the ignition. It's starting to kill the battery.

I don't have the wiring diagram (or manual) and I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction here. Is there a fuse for the locks that I can disable? I'll go poke around in the fusebox, but any knowledge of this you can share would be appreciated. I'd like to get them working again.

Hey Paabi,

We have the same problem. We went to the fuce box and pulled the fuse, disabling the mechanism. However, the problem is not solved because if you put the fuse back in, the problem persists. Do you have any other knowledge?

Thanks
Dan
