aloha to everyone,
please bare with me I am new to this. My son bought a 88 celica alltrac a few months ago. The car was in excellent condition, paint was oxidized but thats no big. He bought the car from a Marine for $300. The marine who worked on the car did not know what the hell he was doing. Major mods done and many parts from other cars were put in, we had the mechanic scratching his head trying to make heads or tails of the parts. Anyway to get to the point, we already changed out the water pump and timing belt (which btw, belonged in a 1986 supra) and the bypass hose. Now the turbo cooling fans don't work and the intercooler just gave out. The worst part about is my son hasn't even driven the yet, only to bring it home when he bought it. We are now looking for a intercooler. Apparently the one in his car is for a toyota Previa van, which is way too large for his engine. Poor car. Can anyone suggest where to get a reasonably priced intercooler, preferably used or refirbished? If anyone could suggest a place in Hawaii, even better.
